A pleasant walk along the well-maintained Le Morette trail, suitable for everyone, offering views of picturesque landscapes as it winds through the Chiusi Forest with its centuries-old oaks for a long stretch, eventually reaching the historic Porto Le Morette.
The route continues along the Terzo canal bank, in the heart of the marsh, to the “Casotto del Biagiotti”, the Nature Reserve’s wildlife observation point.
In April, you can observe various species of herons, ibises, and spoonbills nesting in nearby colonies, as well as black-winged stilts and great crested grebes engaged in their spectacular courtship dances.

A circular nature walk along CAI Trail 826, from Larciano Castello to Cecina, with cultural and artistic stops along the way:
1st stop: Nature walk from Larciano Castello to Cecina, visit to the village and the Church of San Niccolò, then return to Larciano Castello with a visit to the village and the Church of San Silvestro.
2nd stop: Visit to the historic Spinelli Oil Mill (founded in 1781, Via Spinelli) with olive oil tasting.
3rd stop: Visit to the Civic Archaeological Museum and Tower of Larciano Castello. The museum houses local and national artifacts from prehistory to the modern era, with a significant educational section. From the top of the tower, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding valley.
4th stop: Art exhibitions by Lucia Santini, titled “Poesie” (etching technique), and cartoons by Fabrizio Scatizzi.

Guided tour at sunset (and beyond) in the Nature Reserve, listening for nocturnal birds of prey in the woods.
The first part is dedicated to birdwatching, with the chance to observe and learn to identify herons, ducks, marsh harriers, and many other species that inhabit the marshland.
The excursion continues even after sunset, when the dimming light is offset by the multitude of sounds emitted by the many creatures of the marsh. A particularly evocative experience, also suitable for families with children.
